Debbie Smith is a 4th generation Durangoan who graduated from Fort Lewis College with a BA in Business Administration. She recently ended a 32 year career with a well known chocolate retailer. Her career experiences included retail store operations and management, franchisee training, product development, design and construction, special project management, international development and franchise sales.
She is currently working on her National Association of Certified Bookkeepers accreditation and providing accounting assistance to a local governmental entity as well as business consulting services.

My name is Joshua Plutt and I am the owner and president of Look Up Tax & Accounting. As a Colorado native, and with CPA parents who attended the Fort, the only right decision was to study accounting at Fort Lewis College. I graduated from Fort Lewis with my Bachelors in Accounting in 2018 and was immediately hired on to be a full-time tax preparer and bookkeeper where I managed 300+ clients under the name of Thom Hanson & Associates CPA, PC.
In 2022, the firm I worked for was bought out and I decided to go out establish my own accounting roots. Thus, the creation of Look Up Tax & Accounting was born. I currently manage 200+ tax and bookkeeping clients that are apart of my accounting family.

Anna Kaufman is from a multi-generational family of La Plata County and Southwest Colorado. Anna attended Fort Lewis College and honorably served with the United States Air Force as a Law Enforcement Military Working Dog handler. After her service in the Air Force, she moved back to Durango and resides on her family’s working ranch. Upon moving back to Durango, Anna expanded her knowledge with different management positions in the hospitality industry. She then moved to banking for several years and finally ended up with a position at a CPA firm for 13 years as a Flexible Spending Administrator. She assisted 30 different employers in the region, managing approximately 1000 Flexible Spending accounts. She also was tasked with several different bookkeeping clients offering full bookkeeping services. In the fall of 2024 Anna left her position at the CPA firm and is currently taking new bookkeeping clients.
